Description

The HaHa and gateway at Scofton Church is a 19th-century structure located to the south of the church. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble and features a rebated ashlar cornice. The design includes single flanking piers topped with vase finials. To the east, there is a pair of cast iron gate posts from the same period. The ornate wrought iron gate is complemented by an overthrow that includes a lamp bracket. This structure is included in the listing for its group value.
