Description

The piers and screen wall opposite the garden gate at Wallington Hall date from the mid-18th century and are constructed of ashlar. The structure features monolithic domed piers topped with ball finials, which are connected by quadrant walls that have rounded coping. These walls lead to similar but smaller outer piers that do not have finials. The wall ramps up to the main piers.
