Description
The piers and screen wall at the car park entrance date from the mid-18th century and were relocated in 1983 from their original position. Constructed of ashlar, the structure features large piers with banded rustication and moulded caps topped with balls. These piers are connected by a low quadrant wall that has a moulded plinth and chamfered coping, leading to similar but smaller outer piers.
