Description
Bolt Cottage, likely from the 18th century, has been restored in the 20th century. It is constructed from roughly-squared stone with stone slate roofs. The cottage is one storey with an attic and consists of two bays. The central entrance features a boarded door, which is flanked by 12-pane sash windows set in tooled-and-margined chamfered surrounds. There are stone stacks on the ridge and at the right end of the building. The right side of the cottage displays an external stone stair leading to a renewed door in a chamfered stone surround. There is a small outbuilding located on the north side of the cottage.
