Description
The wall and piers enclosing the garden in front of Toft Hill Hall are from the early 18th century. The walls are made of thinly rendered sandstone rubble and feature flat stone coping. The gate piers are constructed from ashlar stone. The structure includes a high wall on the right and a stepped curved wall extending from the left front wing of Toft Hill Hall, which together enclose a triangular garden. At the front point of the triangle, there are two tall square piers that have chamfered rustication and bold cornices topped with dome finials.
