Description

This is a wall located 12 metres east of the river bank in King's Lynn, dating from the late 15th century. It is constructed of red brick and features two blocked 4-centred arches that were once supported by square piers. The wall likely formed part of a small two-bay service building that catered to river-borne traffic involved in the inland trade to Ely. It is probable that there was an inlet from the river on the north side.
