Description
Foreman's House is a house, now divided into two, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of carstone and brick with a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and features two symmetrical doors, with the door on the right located under a gable; both doors are from the 20th century. There are three 20th-century casement windows on each floor, set within late 18th-century segmental-leaded window openings. The roof is gabled and hipped to the west, with ridge stacks located at the east gable and to the left of centre. The east gable was reconstructed in the late 20th century. Inside, the house has sunk quadrant moulded bridging beams.
