Description

TF 60 SW DENVER SLUICE ROAD (South Side)

5/8 Denver Mill 9/7/51 (formerly listed as Windmill in G.V. II* Sluice Road)

Tower Mill. 1835 restored 1970's. Rendered brick with weatherboarded ogee cap. Timber six bladed fantail and 4 timber sails. 6 storeys with gallery at third floor. Sloping timber casements hinged at centre. All machinery survives including curb track, brake wheel, wallower, one pair of stones, corn chutes, nuts and tentering gear.
