Description

Thurleigh Windmill is a tower mill built around 1890. It is constructed of red brick, with some areas covered in cement render. Although the cap and sails are no longer present, the windshaft, brake-wheel, some gears, and the cradle are still intact. The mill stands five storeys tall and was last operational in 1917.
