Description

Pakenham Windmill is a tower mill built around 1820, with the earliest recorded date within the mill being 1835. It was restored to full working order in the 1950s. The structure has five floors and is made of red brick that has been tarred. It features a dome-shaped cap with a finial, four patent sails, and a fantail. During the restoration in the 1950s, a gallery was added to the cap. The mill contains two pairs of overdriven stones located on the second floor.
