Description

Bridge Farmhouse is a late 16th-century farmhouse that stands two storeys high. It features a basic two-cell lobby entrance plan with four bays, and a fifth bay was added in the late 17th century. The structure is timber-framed, with the front timbers exposed while the sides and rear are rendered. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has an internal chimney stack.

The front of the house includes two three-light mid-19th century cast iron casements with small panes and ornate heads. To the right, there is a single-storey canted bay window with a pitched, plain tiled roof. On the upper storey, there are two blocked original windows, two two-light 19th century casements, and one small original diamond mullioned window located above the porch. The single-storey gabled porch has a plain tiled roof and fretted bargeboards. Additionally, there is a cross-wing from around 1950 on the extreme right. The house is positioned sideways to the road.
