Description

Cosycot is a former lodge to Stayer Cottage, built in the early 19th century. It is a single-storey structure designed in the Regency Gothic style. The building is timber-framed and sits on a high brick plinth, with a roughcast exterior and a conical thatched roof featuring an internal chimney stack. The facade includes two 2-light casement windows with arched heads and remnants of square leaded panes. There is a central studded plank door, which is accented by raised pilaster strips. This building is included for its group value.
