Description

Stayer Cottage is an 18th-century house located on the west side of Bury Road in Pakenham. The building is two storeys tall and features a timber frame with a roughcast exterior. It has an internal chimney stack and a hipped roof covered with double Roman tiles.

At the front, there is a central early 19th-century semi-circular porch that is two storeys high and has a flat roof. The cottage has small-paned sash windows on each storey. The door is framed with reeded surround and has a flat pediment supported by brackets shaped like heads. At the rear, there is a two-storey lean-to extension.
