Description

Oak Apple Cottage is a 18th century building located on the west side of Upper Green Place in Great Bowden. It features a painted brick facade and a slate roof with a central chimney. The cottage is 2 ½ storeys tall and has an attic casement in the gable end. There are two sash windows with boxed frames and glazing bars on the upper floors, while the ground floor has reproduction 19th century windows. The entrance is marked by a central six-panelled door topped with a flat hood. Additionally, the west side of the cottage includes a single storey outshut.
