Description

37 Main Street is a building located in Great Bowden, originally listed as Stone House. It has an L-shaped plan, with the main section dating from 1671, constructed of coursed ironstone and later heightened with brickwork. The side wing, made of brick, is dated 1773. The building features a stone plinth and a slate roof, standing at 2 ½ storeys tall. The windows consist of 2 and 3 lights, each with dripstone moulds. The door has been altered, and the original has been removed.
