Description

Upper Green Farmhouse dates to 1675, as indicated by a plaque above the door. The house is built of coursed ironstone, with a south end gable wall of red brick. It has coped gable ends and a Swithland slate roof with end chimneys. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three windows; these are early 19th century 3-light casements. There is a doorway with a stone hood dripstone. Group value is present due to its architectural and historic significance.
