Description

89 Main Street is a 17th-century building that was originally two cottages. It is constructed of coursed ironstone and features a plinth. The roof is made of Swithland slate with coped gable ends and has an off-centre chimney. The building has one and a half storeys and includes two windows, with dormers that break through the eaves, although one of these has been altered. There are two stone mullion windows, each with four lights, and one of these has a dripstone mould. The western end of the building has a four-panelled door, while an additional off-centre door has been replaced by a small window.
