Description

Priory Lodge and Outbuildings is an early 19th-century lodge originally built as a single-storey structure for the Priory. It has since been raised to two storeys, with the upper floor added around 1900. The building features a combination of gault brick and lath and plaster, an internal chimney stack, and a fully hipped roof. There are two windows on the lower floor, which are small-paned casements with Gothic heads and ornate spandrels set in deep reveals, along with two small-paned sashes in the upper storey. Attached to the south side of the lodge is a stable and coach house constructed from rubble flint, with a red brick gable end and dressings. This outbuilding has a hipped, slated roof and includes two ornate cast metal air vents, as well as one reused window with diamond-leaded panes.
