Description

Tower Mill Restaurant is a tower mill that dates back to around 1870 and was later raised by two additional floors around 1900. It has been restored in 1980 and consists of five original floors plus the two added floors. The building is constructed of brick, with the entrance located on the south side. It features numerous renewed windows, all set under segmental arches, but arranged in a disorganized manner. The original ogee cap has been replaced with a polygonal glazed observation room. Inside, all machinery remains intact, including the brake wheel, great spur wheel, windshaft, three pairs of stones, stone nuts, governors, wallower, and sack hoists. The two-storey mill house and outbuildings are not included in this listing.
