Description

New Mill is a 19th-century tower mill built in 1868. It is constructed of brick and features a circular, tapering design with five storeys, although the top storey has been reduced in height. The mill has three segmental-headed casement windows located on the north, south, and east sides. There is a stage door on the second floor on the north side, and iron stanchions remain from a former gallery. A date plaque is positioned above the door, which is located on the east side. The interior retains its floors, but the machinery was removed in 1962.
