Description

This 17th-century barn, located 40 meters north of Manor Farm, is constructed of brick and features a thatched roof. It is aligned east-west and forms the northern side of a courtyard, with its southern side partially obscured by open lean-to additions. The barn has double doors positioned to the left of center and a gabled roof. The stepped gable ends each have two glazed lights, all of which are set under hood moulds with label stops. The roof structure includes tie beams, stop-chamfered principal rafters, two tiers of butt purlins, and collars, with secondary rafters pegged into the purlins. Additionally, there is curved windbracing on one side of the principals only.
