Description
Manor Farm Barn is a 17th-century farm barn constructed from squared clunch with brick dressings and a red pantiled roof. The structure consists of three threshing barns built end to end. The eastern face at the north features two eaves height boarded cart doors and four sets of paired brick dressed ventilation slits. There is a blocked cart entrance at the south, along with additional paired ventilation slits, two ground level boarded windows, and one eaves level boarded window. The barn has brick quoins and a steeply pitched roof. The north gable includes a coursed flint apex, while the south gable has two lower and three apex brick dressed ventilation slits. A datestone from 1610 was previously reported to be located in the apex. The interior features a butt-purlin roof with wind bracing and collars at the north end.
