Description
Baldwin's Farmhouse is a late 17th century farmhouse that has been divided into two properties, with some alterations made in the 18th century. The building is constructed from a mix of flint and brick and features a thatched roof. The south facade clearly indicates separate living spaces. It is two storeys high, with the western three bays containing a 20th-century half-glazed door flanked by a four-light casement window on each side, both with renewed brick surrounds. The first floor has three casement windows. On the east side of the elevation, there is a 20th-century door beneath a sloping hood, with one casement window on each floor to the right. Above the door, there is a blocked horizontal window. The roof is gabled, with a ridge stack positioned over the east door and an additional internal gable stack. The rear of the farmhouse features two outshuts, one of which is contemporary with the main house and is lit by a four-light chamfered mullion window.
