Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with a main range added in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and thatch, with the main range being colourwashed and standing two storeys tall on a flint plinth. The central entrance features an 18th-century panelled door beneath a gabled porch hood supported by braces. The ground floor has two segmental-headed late 20th-century sash windows, while the first floor has four windows under square heads. The roof is gabled, with the gable ends resting on brick kneelers, and there is a rebuilt internal stack on the south gable. A platband runs along the north gable at the eaves line. At the rear, there is a two-storey brick extension with one bay. An early cross wing from the 18th century is not colourwashed and features one storey with a dormer attic. It has one late 20th-century ground floor casement and two dormers under eyebrow thatching, also with late 20th-century casements. The roof of this wing is gabled and has an internal end stack. Buildings adjacent to the west are not included in the listing.
