Description

This is an early 18th-century house, originally a single dwelling, now divided into two separate properties at 47 and 49 Whin Common Road, Denver. The building is constructed of carstone, with some brick and block, and has a roof covered with glazed pantiles. It is a single storey with a dormer attic. On the ground floor, there are four casement windows; three to the right, each set beneath a square hood, and a central window converted into a doorway. The windows themselves are segmental-arched and have brick lintels. The roof is gabled, featuring two dormers with eccentric sloping eaves. A ridge stack is located to the left of the centre. Part of the original external east gable stack is now entirely internal, with brick repairs. A saw-toothed eaves cornice is visible on the west gable.
