Description
No. 19 Broad Row is a shop built in the mid-19th century. It features whitewashed brick and is topped with a roof of concrete pantiles. The building has three storeys and a three-window range. The early 20th-century shop front includes a recessed central entrance with plate glass. The upper two floors are decorated with side and top brick pilaster strips that create a recessed centre panel. On the first floor, there are two 6/6 unhorned sash windows set back from the front wall, while the second floor has two late 20th-century top-hung casement windows. The building has a parapet and a hipped roof. At the rear, there are late 20th-century extensions, both two-storey and single-storey. Inside, an area of early 18th-century brickwork is exposed on the ground floor.
