Description
No. 142 King Street is a mid-19th century shop with living accommodation above in Great Yarmouth. The building is constructed of red brick and has a roof of red and black-glazed pantiles. It is four storeys high, with a single-window frontage. A 20th-century shop front occupies the ground floor, with the entrance to the left. The upper floors feature a full-height canted window bay, fitted with three-over-two sashed windows with horns, each set beneath gauged skewback arches. The building has a modillion and dentilled eaves cornice. A hipped roof is topped by a stack on the south slope. The ground floor interior contains little of note.
