Description

Dairy Farm Barn is a barn dated 1735, constructed of red brick and covered with pantiles. It features three bays, with a byre located at the south end. Each bay is marked by shallow buttresses, and there is a later, leaning buttress at the north end. The barn has central doors, and the north gable includes a parapet with two honeycomb brick vents, a string course, ventilation slits, and brick tumbling. Wrought iron gable ties display the initials W. B. and the date. The southern gable has been rebuilt and includes a bargeboard. The hipped roof of the byre is not considered of special interest.
