Description

Moor Farm Barn is an early 18th-century barn constructed of red brick and covered with pantiles. It features a three-steaded design with lean-to additions on the south and east sides. The barn has a brick plinth and brick piers flanking the central entrance doors. There are blocked ventilation openings and scattered stable doors in the south outshut. The west gable has a parapet with brick tumbling in, a string course, a casement window, and a blocked opening with a three-centred gauged projecting brick arch. The roof over the south barn doors is raised, with parapet gables that also have brick tumbling in. Inside, there are wall posts with braces supporting the tie beams and a staggered butt purlin roof. The barn is included for its group value.
