Description

The barn at Booton Hall is a mid-18th century threshing barn constructed of red brick with a pantiled roof. It features brick eaves corbels and large double door openings on both the east and west sides for access to the threshing floor. The gable ends include ventilation loops, and there is a weatherboarded lean-to on the south gable. The roof is supported by three purlins on each side that butt into the principals, with high collars. Some arch-braces to the tie beams are still present, and the barn contains a timber threshing floor.
