Description
York House is a 17th-century house constructed of rough cast brick and red brick, possibly featuring timber framing. It has a pantile roof with a parapet gable on the west side, and it stands two stories tall with an attic. There is a northern outshut and lean-to extensions on both the north and south sides. The house appears to have two bays and includes 19th-century casement windows. Shallow buttresses support the outshut, and there are moulded brick kneelers on the west gable, along with timber framing in the east gable. The central axial stack has been rebuilt.
