Description

The boundary wall of The Old Rectory is a structure from two different periods, with the southern section dating to the 18th century and the northern section to the 19th century. The wall stands about 3 meters high and features panels separated by shallow buttresses built off a plinth. At the southern end, there is a wide curved entrance splay that leads to a blocked opening. In the center of the wall, there are brick piers that support a double curved entrance splay leading to timber gates topped with wrought iron finials. The piers have stone copings, while the wall is finished with brick bull-nose copings. This boundary wall is included for its group value.
