Description

This is an early 18th-century threshing barn located approximately 30 meters southeast of Broad Farm House. It is constructed of red brick and features a reed-thatched roof. The barn has an off-centre porch on the south side, which includes a weatherboarded gable. It is adorned with plain brick pilasters and has ventilation loops in both the gables and side walls, along with parapeted gables. The roof structure consists of butt purlins arranged in two tiers, with straight wind bracing to the upper purlin. Additionally, there are double collars to the principal rafters and tie beams that connect to the wall posts.
