Description

This is a 17th-century threshing barn, originally built in the mid-18th century, located 5 meters north-west of Beach Farmhouse. The barn features a brick structure set on a flint plinth and is topped with a thatched roof. It has full-height central timber doors that are flanked by two 19th-century sloping buttresses. There are blocked slit ventilation lights and gable heads with tumbling on kneelers. A lean-to outshut is present against the opposing doors at the rear. The roof is supported by tie beams, two tiers of butt purlins, and collars.
