Description

The venison larder, dated 1840 on a cast iron plaque above the door, is a single-storey game larder located in North Elmham. It is constructed of brick and features a plaintile roof with an octagonal shape. The building has three 2-light openings filled with wire gauze, each set beneath skewback arches. The entrance includes a panelled door topped with a flat hood supported by consoles. Above the door is a cast iron crest of the Sonde family. The structure is adorned with a moulded brick and dentil cornice, and it culminates in a conical roof.
