Description

The South Gate Pier to Elmham Park is one of a pair of gate piers, dating from around 1830, located on the west side of Holt Road in North Elmham. These piers are constructed from knapped flint with stone dressings. They are square in section, featuring ashlar quoins and knapped flint panels. Each pier is topped with a carved urn. The gates that originally accompanied the piers are no longer present.
