Description

Bridport House is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of High Street in North Elmham. It is constructed of brick and features a concrete tile roof with some areas of render. The building stands two storeys high and has a three-bay facade that is highlighted by giant pilasters with simple moulded imposts. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and are set beneath skewback arches. The central front door has raised and fielded panels, framed by a reeded doorcase with corner roundels. The ground floor windows are flanked and recessed within semicircular headed containing arches. The eaves are supported by paired brackets, and the roof is hipped, with stacks located on the rear wall.
