Description

A pair of gate piers dating from approximately 1820 to 1830. The piers are constructed of ashlar facing a brick core. They are rusticated and topped with ball finials. These piers are a significant feature within a group that includes the piers to numbers 39 and 43, and the gate piers to number 47.
