Description
The Winery is a former stables, kennel, and barn dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a pantile roof. The building has two storeys, with the upper storey originally serving as a hay loft. The ground floor has openings beneath skewback arches with cambered soffits, including three doorways that have rectangular fanlights. The kennel entrance is enclosed by 19th-century hooped metal railings, and there is one cart entrance beneath a later segmental arch. The building includes three 18th-century two-light windows with metal casements, as well as one mullion and transom window, also with a metal casement. Much of the original leaded glazing remains intact. The upper storey features two honeycomb vents, three slatted openings, and one doorway. There are sawtooth cornices, one sloping dormer, and two chimney stacks at the rear. The gables exhibit tumbling-in, and there are various lean-tos attached to the rear.
