Description

No. 57 High Road is a house that features a mid-19th century front and a timber-framed range dating back to the 17th or 18th century. The building has a plaster exterior and a brick plinth. It is two storeys high and has an L-shaped plan. The front includes four casement windows with one glazing bar, arranged in two and three lights. There is a latticed wooden gabled porch leading to a flush panel door. The roof is covered with plain tiles, hipped at the northern end and featuring a parapet and chimney stack at the southern end. Additionally, there is a roughcast rear extension on the southern side.
