Description

Pond Cottage is a house that likely dates from the 17th century. It has a timber frame and is encased in early 19th century beaded weatherboarding, which is painted white on the front. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with machine tiles, featuring a square central chimney stack made of red brick from the 17th or 18th century. The cottage has two windows; the ground floor features cast iron casements, while the first floor has mid-19th century casements. There is also a single-storey lean-to extension on the left side of the building, which is from the early 19th century.
