Description

The Presley tomb is a chest tomb located 50 metres southwest of the west tower in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary the Virgin. It commemorates William Presley, who died in 1744. The tomb is similar to the Cornwallis tomb, featuring a slate top that is moulded on the sides. It is raised on a stone plinth and was formerly surrounded by railings.
