TM 0433 STRATFORD ST MARY LOWER STREET (east side) 6/28 Clematis Cottage 22.2.55 GV II House. C17 or earlier with C20 alterations. Timber-framed, rendered, underbuilt in painted brick. Plain tile roof. Red brick stack. 2 storeys, 2 window bays. Entrance to right, half-glazed door under tiled bracketed hood. Canted bay to left with casements with glazing bars to upper panes under tiled roof. Similar casements to 1st floor. Timber eaves cornice. Swept roof, hipped to right, stack to left. Included for group value. Interior not inspected.
