Description

Le Talbooth is a 16th-century building with later additions that match its style, forming a Z-plan layout. It has two storeys and is timber framed with exposed studs and bracing, featuring a jettied design around the south return. The long range includes a distinctive 'concertina' chimney stack made of red brick, dating from around 1615, and one large gabled dormer. The roofs are covered with peg tiles. On the south-west elevation, there are two sets of tripartite casements on the first storey, along with two matching sets on the ground storey beneath the jetty. Additionally, there is a second red-brick chimney stack located at the north end of the long range.
