Description

This building is a barn located on the east side of the farmyard at Essendonbury Farm. It dates from the 17th century and is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn has three bays and features a queen post roof construction, with a gabled projecting cart entrance on the west side. There is a single-storey extension to the north, built in the 18th century from red brick, which has a half-timbered gable end. On the east side, there are two small recessed windows.
