Description
Essendonbury Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, featuring a chequered red brick front that conceals a timber-framed core, likely from the 17th century. The eastern and northern elevations were altered in the late 19th century. The southern entrance elevation includes a floor band with a burnt headed course and a segmental headed flush panel door located slightly to the left. There is an early 19th-century three-light casement window with Gothic top lights on the ground floor, and a two-light casement window of the same period on the right side of the first floor. To the left, there is a one-storey outbuilding constructed of brick and timber framing. Inside, there is a chamfered floor beam.
