Description

Nos 22 and 24 on Fore Street are a pair of houses built around 1800. They are constructed from red brick and feature a plain tile roof with two spans. The buildings rise two storeys with attics. On the first floor, there are three sash windows set in broad frames, while the ground floor has three wide sash windows. A stucco floor band runs between the storeys, and the eaves are decorated with dentilled brickwork. The houses each have two doors that are topped with thin hoods supported by shaped brackets, and there are two boxed casement dormers in the roof.
