Description

No. 5 Fore Street is a late 18th-century house featuring painted brick upper floors and painted banded stucco on the ground floor. The building has a slate roof and stands three storeys tall with one window. There is a shallow entablature course above the ground floor. The door is located on the left side and is flanked by plain side pilasters, topped with a thin hood supported by shaped brackets. The right-hand window has a bracketed sill and a simple surround. A band runs above the first floor, which features a replacement sash window. Additionally, there is a wrought iron projecting sign holder.
