It has a plain tile roof and a south gable end that is finished in painted brick. The cottage features an external chimney stack with a square base and two diagonal-set flues. There are two floor bands and the building stands two storeys high. It has three recessed cast iron small pane casements, with the ground floor windows having Gothic top panes.
