Description

The former stables at The Dower House, now converted into a house, date from the mid 18th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a double pile range topped with two hipped plain tile roofs. The building stands two storeys high and has brick dentilled eaves. There are three segmental headed windows, which have 20th-century casements. To the left, there is a 20th-century Ionic style doorcase. The stables also include single storey side blocks with wood dentilled eaves; the left block has two sash windows, while the right block has been converted into a modern garage.
